Lebanon's interior minister has ordered the country's security forces to break up gatherings held by the country's LGBTQ+ community after facing pressure from religious groups.
Bassam Mawlawi told Lebanon's Internal Security Forces to "immediately take the necessary measures to prevent any type of celebration, meeting or gatherings" by the community.
"This phenomenon is contrary to the habits and customs of our society" and religious principles, Mawlawi said, adding that "personal freedoms cannot be invoked".
Mawlawi's orders come after alleged "calls on social media to organise parties and events promoting homosexuality in Lebanon, and following communications from religious figures rejecting the spread of this phenomenon".

Trust me, film the “gatherings” then show it around. No one will bitch about depriving these people of their rights. Gays went wrong when instead of living their lives shutting the feck up they demanded moral parity with non deviants . I had no problem with them until they decided they were going to tell me what’s up and what’s down. I grew up by Sayville Long Island, he gateway to Fire Island Pines for 50,000 gays each summer. They minded their business and we minded ours and there was no problem. Now they think they can mind MY business. Wrong. Very Wrong.

The inhabitants of that country has no moral obligation to allow aggressive LGBT take root there. They’ve looked at us and seen their fate if they fail to act. The perverts can move to Europe and help that region to depopulate.
