If Trump wants to be President again, he’ll have to show us that he has learned from his mistakes in the past. The swamp outsmarted him. Only a few guys he could trust (Mike Pompeo, etc). Plus Trump is getting old. He needs to show us that he has the stamina by campaigning on the trail.

If DeSantis is not running, I'll vote for Pompeo. That's about it although I might vote for Rand Paul if he's running.

Trump is no longer the incumbent President so we'll have to stop treating him like it.

I'll be thrilled to support Trump in the General Election once he proves to us that he is capable of winning and I believe he can do it. But he has to show it to us first.

Trump still gets enamoured too often of the gold bathroom fixtures type. E.g. his daughter, Kari Lake in Az, Blake Masters in Az the flamboyant, the glib and the sycophant. IMO, his superficiality in that regard is his Achilles Heel. However, if he runs on dumping all illegals out and instituting mandatory e-Verify we might forgive him. And I was a Trumper in 15 and still am at 98%.
