How can we fix things if you don't get involved?
American Thinker ^ | Jun 26, 2022 | Jay Davidson

Joe Biden and his puppet masters want to destroy fossil fuel use in the name of an unproven theory called "man-made global climate change." …

In order to solve a problem, one must first understand complicity. There is no redemption if there is no admission of guilt, and then remorseful contrition. Every problem has a solution, and every error can be rectified.

… Since the party in power doesn't understand cause and effect, or the Democrats intentionally sabotaged a successful economy, redemption won't grace our nation until the culprits have all left Washington. On both sides of the aisle.

This level of destructive ignorance cannot be allowed. Yet it is rampant throughout politicians and bureaucrats. For instance, the EPA makes law and assesses fines on all private energy companies. The FDA permits medical procedures, not your doctor. The Federal Reserve decided, unilaterally and without consultation, to print vast sums of U.S. dollars and thereby set up the crippling inflation of today. ...

Further, the stated law of the land, our Constitution, specifically precludes the kind of bureaucratic control by government employees we experience today. The powers granted the federal government were carefully enumerated, and then the Bill of Rights specifically states that all powers not granted to the federal government are to reside with the states.

***

Third, America has a unique situation. We are a representative government. That means we individuals are responsible for the government we have. It takes active engagement and individual involvement to direct our government, both elected and employed. Our contrition is to admit that we have not followed this idea of representative government. Our redemption is to get involved and change it.

Start the journey. Your children's and grandchildren's well-being depends on it.

KEYWORDS:
The annoying thing about a system of self-governance is that governance requires work. In a system of self-governance the person who has to do that work is yourSELF. Who wants to spend time and effort on something that doesn't pay and most often provides no immediate benefit?

Voting once every two years is not sufficient if you ignore governing in the meantime. Self-government means attending meetings of government bodies, making your opinions known, maybe even volunteering for one of the numerous government advisory boards ... campaigning for your candidate ... the list could be endless. It's a real PIA.

But if you let others do the work, you can't complain about the outcome.

You’re absolutely correct. You’ve been here long enough to remember how active Freepers were. Back when algore tried to steal that election and before we learned about how much of a GOPe tool the former VP turned out to be, groups of Freepers protested outside at Number One Observatory Circle with protesters yelling to algore to get out of Dick Cheney’s house!

Then there are the local chapters that mobilized and were good at protesting locally at a drop of the hat. Even out here in the Soviet of Washington the state chapter had seasonal events/pot lucks to meet the people behind the handles and to commiserate about life as a conservative in a commie environment.

Now when we need that kind of activism from this very large group of purportedly conservative people, you get nothing or worse yet, pessimism at a level that breaks the scale. Pathetic really.

Conservatives are winning, yes we lost a major battle in 2020, but look around, we’re winning again and we have the commies on the wall. We need people to find that spark again and engage.

Become a PCO and start organizing your neighbors and people in YOUR circle of influence. Manifest your area into allies, independents, new voters, (those are very important to ID and nurture), and dimocRAT voters. Use that list wisely and judiciously, they are your Calvary.

Become the go to guy in your circle of influence for the truth not propaganda. Have block parties, get candidates to come over if not for a block party have a few over for coffee and candidate meetup. Volunteer to be a poll watcher, hugely important. Can’t cheat with honest eyes watching their moves.

And lastly vote and make sure everyone in your circle votes even if you have to take them to the polls. There’s part of the roadmap to victory.

Freepers let’s go! Draw upon the spirit of Freepers past and let’s fight like we know how to, or ask how to fight, many Freepers are battle hardened political warriors who could be excellent teachers. We should work our hardest in honor of Jim Robinson and his family, for without Jim we would not have this very powerful platform for Freedom and Liberty loving patriots to commiserate.

You are not going to be able to vote your way out of this.

Apparantly not. These things happened. Root cause is Congress delegating then abdicting. The issue of inflation and failure to expoit public resources are due to Congress.

Congress will of course blame the Fed for inflation, and Boiden and Biden / the Bureau of Land Management for shutting off the pumping of petroleum. But those actions are taken by agents of Congress.

The institutions bit off more than they can chew, and now responsible for managing what they have taken over to manage we find they are self-serving and incompetent. Take the power away.

We are not truly in a system of self governance. The powerful people, money interests and their puppets in Congress, have the control. Professional politicians all come from the same aritocratic and elite class or arrogance that claims "if you just let ME manage this, it'll work."

There is no voting our way out of this. Mind your business, do good work and care for those around you. The government is going to do what it will - run the country into the ground.
