He uttered ‘Allah Akbar’ at the very beginning of the shooting (first bar). Since 2015, he’s been on a national watch-list, and via comments by the police....he’s been interviewed on threat allegations several times. These allegations were noted on some record, but never went anywhere.
Part of this issue...his chief crimes were always drug-trafficking. I don’t think he ever made a legit ‘dime’ ever...from honest work (based on social media commentary there).
In the end, you had some migrant who had schizophrenic problems....probably self-medicated a lot, and bought off on Islam solving his problems. Norwegians just kept thinking he was reasonably ‘safe’ and kept delaying the logical answer...house him permanently in a facility.
