Michelle Obama and Amy Schumer are leading the furious public criticism of the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade today - with the former First Lady slamming the move as 'horrifying' while warning that it will have 'devastating consequences' for women across the US.
The 58-year-old took to Instagram to post a lengthy statement slamming the decision on Friday, describing herself as 'heartbroken' while blasting the Supreme Court for ridding women of their 'fundamental right to make informed decisions about their own bodies'.
'I am heartbroken that we may now be destined to learn the painful lessons of a time before Roe was made law of the land - a time when women risked losing their lives getting illegal abortions,' she wrote.

Oh, don’t worry. There will be some complaining from the libs but they actually got exactly what they wanted. The federal government has been erased from any decision concerning abortion and the individual states can do exactly what they want. If it is a liberal state, look for laws to be enacted that will create an atmosphere of abortion possibilities well beyond the last ideals of roe. If it is a conservative state, they will now have the availability of shaking laws they didn’t want to be governed under. And the availability of abortion upon request will increase based upon how many doctors that do them wish to go to the states that will allow, and most likely, encourage them.
So, nothing has changed except the federal government has been given a get out of jail free card. And you only have two places to go to a Disney park. Isn’t that about the same thing? Entertainment followed by the bill. Millions go there every year. And think of the possibilities of the use of hotels, the profit from stores and rental agencies, and the tax flow for the state and feds. Considering it isn’t their child, what do you expect them to consider? And except for votes or profits as the child doesn’t mean anything to them when you figure their support of partial birth abortion, then what else is there. They have no horse in the race except those two issues. And I hope the Lord damns the rhinos that supported it.

These are the same people that pick up and move to red states claiming "things are cleaner, less expensive, yada yada", but they still vote Dem.
All because abortion is so sacred to them, over taxes, self-defense, safe schools, etc.
I know some christians in struggles that top my prayer list.

Can someone clarify why the RIP? Abortion is not banned. It went to the states. Abortion will still be rampant in blue states, possibly in some purple and red states. Why is mooshell upset and why all the celebration here? Nothing has *really* changed. Maybe I’m missing something.

While the consequences are bad enough, I believe that half-century mark stood as an approaching point in which the United States would face immediate horrific consequences of biblical proportions if this wasn't overturned.
