Yeah I guess so. No argument other than “It’s racist”, or “We’re a nation of immigrants”. Both of which are easily countered but they always change the subject before you have a chance to.
It costs far, far more to let them stay.
That’s worth the cost. The level of crime will plummet as a result, and illegals are less likely to try to enter and/or remain in Florida as a result of the law.
Cost/benefit analysis makes this a win.

Medical care, SNAP, educational programs,
housing, tax rebates. We’re all on the
hook to cover these costs. Not to
mention personal cost of a loved one

Yes, last I heard 2/3 of welfare benefits are going to illegal aliens with anchor babies. And they get free health care by just going to the emergency room. If you’re a citizen, you have to wait an hour or so in line behind them even if they just have a runny nose.

Can attest to that. Young daughter had trouble breathing from a cold that we took her into the ER. Waited 3hrs while some Spanish only speaking family got in before us. Their kid was even running around the ER. Obviously nothing serious. Infuriates me even now. Which I'm sure makes democrats smile.

Some prison populations are almost 70% illegals in some states, a d the cost, decades ago per illegal to house them in prison, was $125 a day on average. Legal citizens on disability and social security don’t get nearly that much spent on them on average. Many have to live on no more than $20 a day (those who get minimum ss) (of course they get medical, so that goes up a bit, but still doesn’t reach $125 a day... the point being that we spend more on illegals than our own legal citizens. There is no end to the $$ for illegals, but by golly ss is “running out”

In California, the average cost per inmate is $75,000 per year, and has doubled since 2005. Ny is $69,000 per year. In California, the cost per inmate is more than the cost for tuition to Harvard for a year.
