“And we know all this how?”
Because Red Army troops are not on the Polish border right now and they’re not rolling into Moldova as Moscow had expected to do by now.
Keep in mind that Ukraine is right on the Russian border. It’s not like the Red Army had to go 10,000 miles to get there.
This should be a total cakewalk for Russia. Yet this war on the Russian side has devolved almost to the level of World War One trench warfare and artillery duels.
There should have been Russian tanks lining the Polish border five deep by now.
You cannot convince me that this war is going according to Putin’s plan.
Yes, there’s propaganda. That’s to be expected. But the fact that Russia hasn’t won this war is undeniable.
Again, that fact is a greater defeat for Russia than anything else because Russia’s enemies are now thinking about things they would have never thought before.
“Because Red Army troops are not on the Polish border right now and they’re not rolling into Moldova as Moscow had expected to do by now.”
Russia never had plans to enter either of those countries. I doubt he wants western Ukraine either, though he may be forced to enter there should this war drag on.
