Canada seeking pathway to enable German gas flow amid Russian sanctions

Ottawa is evaluating options to help restore German gas supplies as a crucial Nord Stream 1 pipeline part is stranded in Canada due to Russian sanctions, the Canadian Natural Resources Minister said in an interview with Bloomberg on Tuesday.

Gazprom's Nord Stream 1 pipeline has been forced to reduce capacity as it waits for the turbine, which is being serviced in Canada. Sanctions on Russia make it impossible for German equipment supplier Siemens Energy to receive the pipeline part, the company said last week.

"We want to respect the sanctions because the sanctions were put into place for a reason," Canada Natural Resources Minister Jonathan Wilkinson told Bloomberg. "That being said, the intent of the sanctions was never to cause significant pain to Germany"

Russia has said the pipeline is delivering less gas to Europe due to the slow return of Siemens-made equipment from Canada.

So what the jackboot Canook Natural Resources Minister Jonathan Wilkinson is saying is that Canada is going to cause significant pain to Germany to stick it to Putin.

Got it.

I think that Germany needs to take this Canadian ATTACK on their critical infrastructure to the United Nations, and perhaps the Security Council there can authorize military action against Canada if they continue to REFUSE to deliver the turbines back to Germany (so that Germany can send them to Russia so as resume the flow of natural gas, to keep Germany from freezing this winter).

I have no idea as to why Canada sees the need to act in such a BELLIGERENT way towards Germany, other than the fact that they’re closer to the United States, so they know that they can poke Germany all they want, and still have protection from the US.

Canada lost far more men fighting Germany than the US during WW2 (at least on a per capita basis), due to the UK dragging them into WW2 early on. This is their REVENGE against Germany (took long enough).

It’s Russian gas flow that is being sought.

Sounds as though Russia is getting tired of this “Special Military Operation” and is now starting to fight this more like a war. But that’s ok for the Neocons, since it’s only Ukrainians having to die.

I can tell you that the Trudeau government doesn’t operate on logic, the common good or to the will of the people-it takes its orders from WEF as more than half of Trudeau’s cabinet are WEF Young Global Leader graduates. That being said, the EU is solely responsible for its choice to freeze and starve this winter to punish safe, toasty-warm, cash-rich and well-fed Russia this winter. It’s like if all the homeless drug addicts of San Francisco decided to “sanction” Pelosi and Newsom to bankrupt their vineyards. Darwin is in control and stupidity will now hurt.
