We have no national interest in Ukraine. We do seem to have an over-active military-industrial complex that wants to have an external enemy to rally against. Just like the corporate profits coming from the COVID crisis, some political campaign contributors want a place to send money raised by increasing the federal debt.

My comment was m guess on where the next battleground will be that we will send federal debt dollars to. Should we be there? No.

Notice all the defense companies are relocating to DC metro area.

It's important to have a powerful military. But we can easily cut down 75% and we will be able to remain our deterence.

But if we cut our military, we should reduce our entitlements (never).
