The Democrats would have pushed forward a confiscatory semi-auto ban and ban on standard capacity magazines in addition to a FEDERAL red flag law.
The only thing standing in the way of that was the GOP and the filibuster.
Instead of what the Democrats wanted, they got some meaningless fluff that does nothing in the grand scheme of things.
There is no AWB.
There is no magazine ban.
There is no national red flag law.
Nothing in the bill forces Missouri to enact a red flag law, and Missouri probably won’t.
Yet, you would vote for Democrats who want to actually put you in prison because a minority of Republicans voted for watered down fluff?
