“All we’ve seen so far is a lot of flopping around by a Third World dump pretending to be a super power.”

This sounds familiar.

I was thinking the same thing about a super power that invaded Afghanistan & Iraq.

The Congress and Executive signed off on the paper work, that had our military personnel searching Mesopotamia for WW1 technology.(Plus killing raghead militias)

There is nothing “new under the sun” when it comes to great power foreign adventurism.

a) We’re still in Iraq and Syria; b) we buggered out of Afghanistan, we weren’t pushed out. The Afghanistan cluster**** was deliberate.

As opposed by Putin, who prefers the old fashioned methods of control like a trip to Siberia or bullet through the head.

But he's only doing it to his own people, assuming if this true that he even does that.

Actually, it isn't.

Article 22

Matters which are not regulated by this Agreement, or by international agree ments to which both of the Contracting Parties are party, shall be decided in accord ance with the legislation of each of the Contracting Parties.

Article 23

This Agreement shall not affect the rights and obligations of the Contracting Parties arising from other international treaties and agreements which they have concluded.

Lithuania has other treaty agreements with the European Union, UN, and general international law, which are in effect and prevent them from being party in the transport of sanctioned goods.
It isn't Lithuania alone doing it, but the EU and NATO. Russia isn't about to start a war with NATO and the rest of the EU, when it is losing a war in Ukraine.

If you want to support the government that is holding middle-aged men and women in solitary confinement and tried to frame a candidate and later a sitting President over getting support from Russia go right ahead.
