It’s a damn shame that the so called “Black REVEREND Leaders” (Race Hustlers) like Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton and Jeremiah Wright have made no discernible effort to alter the course of the social decline of Chicago in general, and South Chicago in particular. Why have we not heard from the Community Organizer, Barack Obama and Michelle? The carnage continues throughout Chicago spreading from South Chicago to the Loop and Near North Chicago and West Chicago gets its fair share of crime, shootings, murders, etc. In my younger years, I spend time in the ER of a near north (no longer in existence) hospital on LaSalle Street and even in that area weekend nights were sometimes war-like.
Why do the so called Leaders make no effort or comments? Because they want the social conditions they have cultivated in Chicago to continue in order to encourage a dependent society reliant on the political party that has created this culture. So much for LBJ’s Great Society - what a travesty!
