My prediction is that by next winter Germany will cave in and agree to trade gold backed ruble for gas. Otherwise they are going to freeze to death. I’ve been in Germany during the winter. It is so freaking cold!

All the gas companies of Germany already have agreed to pay in Rubles.
The problem is a German gas turbine was sent to Canada for repairs, and Canada wouldn’t return it due to sanctions.
So capacity on the gas line was reduced a lot.
They’re trying to get the Turbine back from Canada now.
It’s affecting more than Germany since Germany supplies other countries with this same gas.
