I call bullsh!t on your battery claims. Tesla, the darling of the EV cheerleader set has a battery energy density of 260 whr/kg. ie 0.26 kWh/kg Gasoline energy density is 12.7 kwhr/kg - 49 times higher. Oh and as an aside. Smokeless powder ie the propellant in artillery shells has an energy density of 0.83 kwh/kg. I mention this because unlike petroleum fuel batteries contain both fuel and oxidizer in close proximity. Kind of like lithium batteries which have about 1/3rd that energy density, but still put on a nice warm show when the get an internal flaw.
