Authorities in California are investigating a smash-and-grab robbery at a Macy’s in Walnut Creek Saturday morning after three suspects stole high-end watches before fleeing the scene, officials said.
The Walnut Creek Police Department said "three black male adult suspects" entered the store located in the Broadway Plaza shopping center at approximately 10:48 a.m., when they began "smashing jewelry display cases with hammers."
The suspects, all wearing hoods and masks to obstruct identifying elements, stole the valuables and fled the scene.
Last year, dozens of suspects robbed the Broadway Plaza Nordstrom in what witnesses described as a brazen theft like something "out of a movie." ***

Used motor oil would have been better.
There are some snapshots into our future in that link
Might be worth it...:)
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not dead set against the idea.
FWIW vegetable oil will burn. And burn hot! It might be safer for the building too. :)
Used motor oil is nasty. Think of the clean up. lol
“Just wait until they empty the jails and prisons”
I’m waiting.
Any ignoramus who is stupid enough to use “Juneteenth” does not deserve respect. Will they expect Bizness Week and similar degradations of English now?
For a while they pushed having local public schools to demand “Ebonics” bilingual teaching in all classes. So far it not be done nowhere and dey dindonuffin bout it. So far.
Here is an idea.
Push really hard that these crime sessions cause prices to increase. Blame some of the inflation on the shoplifting smash and grab sessions. Publicize it. Even if used in ads and called racist by critics.
Remember, straining and trying hard the GOP under GW Bush, Romney and Trump only went from 2% and 5-6% black voter support to 7% in places. NOT enough to continually sell their souls for, kissing up and pandering. So tell the truth: these organized laughing mobs steal and cause prices to go up to everyone else. And stores to close and people working in them to lose jobs.
As usual, I’m angry.

Don’t expect anything resembling enforcing the law here in WCreek. The Aholes in charge told the coppers to stand down when the Antifa/BLM thugs rampaged thru town. Totally worthless. The most they did was escort them thru neighborhoods so the citizens wouldn’t endanger them.
The only time “law enforcement” showed up was when the mob moved onto the state highway and the state coppers did their job.
WCreek might as well be Chaz.
The looters are affected by Biden, they can’t afford to loot Nordstrom this year!! 🤓

Celebrated by a veritable orgy of Undocumented Shopping!
“One never know, do one?”
During their undocumented shopping frenzy, lots of marbles should be thrown on the floor, then.watch them dance!

True, but we're talking California here. Virtually no-one carries concealed.
LOL!
Gad. The fact that we aren’t dead set against the idea is just an indicator of how far law and order has fallen.
Neither one of us has any expectation that Law Enforcement is going to help someone protect their business.
That is astonishing. They have zero protection. They are just supposed to suck it up and take the loss.
Forced redistribution of wealth. It only reinforces my conviction that the Left is doing everything in its power to destroy this country, and forcing small businesses to close is a damn good way to do it.
At some point the PTB are doing more to support disorder than law and order. Push back against that is inevitable. It's the reason we separated from Britain and the choices then were extremely difficult and made a lot of people uneasy.
