If Lithuania wants to provoke war with Russia that’s their business.
Just leave the USA out of it.
I doubt Putin takes the bait, as he has tons of options short of taking action against NATO (which is what the Neocons want, given Biden’s collapse in the Midterm polling).
Just today the families of 50 generals and officers meeting in Central Ukraine (probably with a ton of Westerners there) found out that Russia does indeed have high-precision cruise missiles...probably a message for the Lithuanian stunt.
