As France grapples with a particularly intense heatwave this weekend, with temperatures reaching 40 degrees Celsius in many parts of the country, meteorologists say the increasingly early arrival of heatwaves is directly linked to global warming due to human activities.
Although heatwaves now happen regularly, this one came as a surprise – a clear indication that the consequences of global warming are being felt earlier and earlier.
Forecasters and meteorologists describe France’s current heatwave as “remarkably early”. Heatwaves in France usually take place in July or August. A heatwave in June is unprecedented and worrying, with meteorologists pointing the finger at man-made global warming.
Oil, gas and coal are the main culprits of global warming. World leaders adopted the historic Paris Agreement on December 21, 2015 at the COP21 summit, setting out longterm strategies for countries to meet their commitments to wean themselves off fossil fuels.

Given that the IPCC is linked to the UN and WHO, one finds that they say of their "scientists" that they are "experts" and "authors."
"270 experts from 67 countries were invited to take on their roles in the WGII contribution to the IPCC Sixth Assessment Report. Of the selected experts, 47 are Coordinating Lead Authors and 184 are Lead Authors who have the collective responsibility for the contents of their assigned chapters and cross-chapter papers in the report. 39 of the experts are Review Editors who ensure that all substantive comments during the review stages are given appropriate consideration by the Authors. 57% of the selected experts come from developing countries and countries with economies in transition, and 43% are from developed countries."
SO many IPCC experts, "invited" and "selected" and assigned "collective responsibility" to do their annual -- "IPCC Sixth Assessment Report" -- spiel for the press to tell us is science. Scientists who disagree with this are of course not scientists, experts and surely never "selected."
