It is a brutal, stupid, unnecessary war. Everyone involved in bringing it about, and in perpetuating it, should be ashamed.
And that includes the criminals in the Obama regime who helped orchestrate the 2014 coup-d’état. All of this war’s blood is as much on their hands as it is on the hands of Putin and Zelensky.

If the Ukies had 176K KIA this war would be over and done. That’s more than all UKIE ground forces before the invasion.
If the Russians are willing to admit 50,000 of their military personnel killed, then, it’s likely a lot higher, and probably approaching 100,000 killed.
But, there’s plenty more where they came from, and it’s all for a good cause. Communists can always rationalize their evil intents.
If the Russians are losing 50,000+ personnel, then, it’s quite likely that they’re also losing hundreds of billions in military hardware. But, it’s all still for a good cause.
We need some accountability here. Saw an article this week where a bunch navy captains got the heav ho. Odd so many in such short time. What was that about?

What does “losses” mean? Only the Sun knows and they might be changing the meaning daily. Military casualties are expressed in Killed, Wounded, and Missing. Losses could be one of these, two, or all. Another example of how the media have no idea what they are reporting on the Ukraine war.
Ukraine has already had 4 mobilizations and are currently engaged in their 5th.
Ukraine claims they have a million man forces currently, but intend to mobilize 2 million. Personally I don’t give this any credibility; but then I never give any credibility to what Ukraine says based on their own history.
I know better than to take anything Ukraine says seriously, but you would think that even they would realize how much this harms their credibility.

I’ve read other reports that the Kremlin has appointed the current chief of staff of the Central Military District, Colonel-General Mikhail Teplinsky(a native of the Donetsk region), as Serdyukov’s replacement and named him the Deputy Commander of the Russian Airborne Forces.
As always, check for independent confirmation.

One huge difference — Russia does not have their pro-Vietcong equivalents in their country. Who are the Jane Fondas and John Kerrys of Russia? Who are the Russian Walter Cronkites broadcasting warnings about disaster?
If they exist, they are either in jail or dead.
......while my preference is that the war in Ukraine end today so that the killing, particularly of innocent children and other non combatants can stop, Russia is grinding it’s military capabilities and personnel up and that is a good thing.
Russia will rebuild its army using the children of Ukraine.
