The kids parents were always abroad. I feel luke they wanted attention looking back on it. There was also a gang of them that would smash car windows to steal Garfield window suction cup stuffed animals.

But you can be assured, if someone brought up Ashley's abuse but quickly pivoted to asking Biden if he thought his Dad was to blame, either directly or the one responsible for starting the cycle of abuse -- that would be the interview that would destroy Biden. Would either break down and never regain composure, or more likely, lose his dementia medication shackles and attack the interviewer.
If the interviewer is a woman, they will convene the 25A Committee the next morning.

You could be right — if this memory of hers were an anomaly and completely out of character for him. But his predilection for sweet young things has been on public display for years, and perhaps decades.
It isn’t an anomaly, and it makes sense when considered with other evidence.

I’m an alcoholic, 36 years sober, with 1 son who is a drug abusing alcoholic. And no, he didn’t learn it from me. I got myself completely sober as soon as my wife told me she was pregnant.
I’ve pretty much seen it all with him. Lies, stealing from me, attempted intimidation, pity parties, you name it and I’ve seen it.
When she was 6, my wife’s parents split up and she and her brothers were split up amongst her father’s family. My wife was raised by her paternal grandparents.
Her grandfather started sexually abusing her when she was 8 years old and it lasted until she ran away at 17 years old.
She finally started talking about it after we had been married for 9 years. I learned a lot from her about WHY the sexually abused do what they do.

That isn’t as uncommon as you might think.

When our own boys were about 6 she opened up and started talking to me about what she went through. I could never get her to condemn the man for anything. She always made excuses for him. Until the day he died she maintained a sense of loyalty to him.
I think that if she had condemned him she would have also, in her mind, been condemning herself.
I learned that the abused are seldom what we would call rational. Each one of them gets through it their own way. Some seek psychological help, most don’t.
Everyone deals with traumatic issues differently. Perhaps, Ashley may have it out of her system. Obviously, Hunter does not.
If someone's kids all turn out to be whores and druggies then more than likely the parents are scumbags also. Parents can't always control how their kids turn out and sometimes you have a bad kid that comes from good parents, but if all the kids are lowlifes then you can bet the parents are also. Ashley Biden has been known as the town pincushion forever, she had the reputation at Tulane during college and doesn't seem to have changed any. Hunter's sexual appetites need no elaboration, I wouldn't let my dog get anywhere around that creep, much less a child. Both have their well documented problems with drugs. If they weren't the children of a rich politician they both would have probably been homeless and likely dead of an overdose or STD by now.
Contrast Biden's kids with Trump's children. All of Trump's kids are successful business people in their own right without a hint of scandal among them. I'm sure being a Trump gave them a leg up, but they all are upstanding, fine people. Biden's children are train wrecks of epic proportions. The completely opposite way that Trump and Biden's children turned out says a lot about the character of each man. Good men tend to raise good kids, scumbags tend to raise scumbags.

I don’t think Ashley has it out of her system, more likely she has made a sort of peace with the past. She has gotten to a place where she can live with things.
I don’t think Hunter ever will.
No doubt he’s had to go through his life constantly being compared to his big brother. It must hurt badly to constantly be compared to his “perfect” big brother.
As Joe gets older and the dementia has a greater and greater hold he will get meaner, especially, I think, where Hunter is involved. He will probably at some point scream at Hunter that HE should have died instead of Beau. The wheels will completely come off at that point.
