How would owning Baja CA and some land below NM/AZ prevent illegals from getting into Texas?
How would it prevent them getting into AZ or NM or CA? The border would just be closer to where they’re coming from, not impossible to get across...?
I never said it would stop illegal immigration into Texas, I said virtually all border resources can then go to the Rio Grande. You can't build a wall on the Rio Grande, but you can on that strip of land immediately due south of NM and AZ, which we should be owning and which would solve virtually all of our border problems.

If you look at the US-Mexican border west of TX, it is very irregular. Owning that land from the NE corner of Gulf of Baja California to Texas would virtually stop all illegal immigration trafficking.
