While this is Scotland in the UK, that question is on the questionnaire I fill out every time I donate Blood here in the US. I can remember when, as a youth, there were about 8 questions asked whereas now, it is 50 on top of the normal age/weight/height and GENDER of M/F. More and more it is becoming a bizzaro world ruled by the most sensitive offend-able people!

I had a radiology tech ask me that about a year ago. I simply replied, “well, I haven’t had my period this month,” and left it at that.
Once many years ago, I answered “yes” to that question (I wasn’t paying attention)
They have been asking this for at least 40 years and not being that flexible.

I’ve been asked exactly that question at several of my donations. I refused to answer that question telling them that this was anti-science, anti-Christian and insulting to me. Fortunately they filled in the answer themselves and we proceeded. I’m eligible for my 51st pint at this blood center next week. This might be interesting.
