Yes but what about AFTER the worm eats the styrofoam? What then? Huh? I'll show you!! Don't worry, the Japanese will make a sushi dish from it.

And what do billions of darkling beetles feed on when they finish the styrofoam?

Cock roaches will eat the filling. Not sure what will eat the diaper itself.

I think I saw this in a horror movie once. People ran screaming from summer picnics as the worms destroyed the Styrofoam beer coolers.

Lets’ see, we’ve tried this “what could go wrong” stuff before. Two things that come to mind are nutria and white amurs.

I understand that this worm can be inserted into the human body and will only eat cancer cells. Also can be used in batteries where it will eat deposits that decrease the number of cycles batteries can tolerate.

The highest volume item in the landfills is disposable diapers.
Most small villages in Alaska have old fashioned garbage dumps and the bears go after the dirty diapers before anything else.

God forbid they develop a worm to eat duct tape! My house would collapse.

I was going to ask how big do these worms grow, and what garbage do they go after when ‘regular’ garbage is gone?
