Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis rips into Biden on inflation, gas prices

MIAMI -- Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis ripped into President Joe Biden Thursday morning during a South Florida stop when asked about inflation and high gas prices. "He's always trying to create a scapegoat. I guess his position is that it wasn't until he became president that oil companies are trying to make profits like they're gouging. Now, they weren't doing that for the last 25 years, all of a sudden, just now they're doing that."

"It's insulting to the average citizen to listen to some of this drivel coming out of the White House and because they know people are upset about it."

It's worth listening to the speech in its entirety. DeSantis is very knowledgeable and he's not afraid to take a swing. Impressive ! I'm a little surprised CBS Miami ran the story.

I voted for Trump. I’ll vote for him again if he’s on the top of the ticket. But honesty forces me to state, I would prefer DeSantis.

I agree with everything that he said but he sounds more like a political advisor though. He is not a good speaker. He does not have gravitas.

Trump hit Biden on the stock market via Truth Social.

This is what Trump and DeSantis need to keep doing....smacking the Democrats for their agenda and showing that there is an alternative that will fix it.

It’s obvious that biden wants this. He does this crap to make it go up and blame russia. You shut our pipe line down. Open russias and was buying oil from them. Then supplies ukraine with huge amounts of our money and stops buying oil from russia when ukraine called him out for it. He was using tax payer dollars to fund the whole war. Nobody ever calls him out and says quit spending our money on something we shouldn’t have anything to do with in the first place.

Open our pipeline. I hope the media starts turning on him.

desantis is currently running for reelection for florida governor 2022...

he’s already stated he’s focused on the election this year and not the 2024 presidential election...

They aren’t environment wackos - they are Marxists who hate free market capitalism. They just use the environmental cause to disguise what they are really all about. You may say that they are watermelons - green on the outside, but red on the inside. We need to start calling them what they are - MARXISTS. Several conservative political commentators need to do the same.

It’s insulting and embarrassing to watch President Retard screw everything up he touches and pretend it didn’t even happen. He’s a complete ding dong 🤪

The rats came very close to stealing the Fla Governors race when DeSantis won. We would be in very different place had they been successful.

You ever listen to Calvin Coolidge speak? The man’s voice is tinny and nasal, but he was one of the greatest financial presidents we’ve ever had.

I don’t give a rip about the man’s gravitas. His words don’t mean jack. His actions are far superior to anything ever uttered by a president since Reagan. DeSantis acts on what he believes. He’s a man of principle, which the liberals DESPISE, because it’s impossible to attack someone on sincerely held principle.

DeSantis will be president one day, but I’d like to keep him around for a full term as governor here in FL, please and thanks.

Biden’s response to all the country’s problems is that there is “nothing they can do.”

Has Trump ever said those words like that dolt prezident of ours?
