She no longer appears to give any public statements, not even on ways to use white raisins.

She’s half Portuguese, Iberian Peninsula. Former Moor & Muslim lands.
So, not only African American, but maybe be another White Hispanic too.

As I recall, Teresa Heinz made a distinction between African-American and African American. I forget which one she claims to be and why there should be a difference.
Wikipedia cleverly avoids the issue by calling her Portuguese-American as she was born in Mozambique when it was a Portuguese colony.
