Let the US Navy seize the ship if the Greeks back off?
How was the U.S. able to seize the tanker off the coast in international waters or Greek waters?
If it was in Greek waters wouldn’t it be the Greeks who would seize it, not the U.S., and if it was in international waters, what’s there to keep Iran, Russia, China, etc, from seizing ships in international waters from countries they may have sanctions against?
Is the U.S. doing this on behalf of the international body and if so, wouldn’t the UN enforce that?
I guess they figure it out after Iran seized two of their ships that it just wasn’t worth it to work at the behest of the United States.
