Former President Barack Obama has made an unusual request to install a massive 2,500 gallon commercial-grade propane tank at his Martha’s Vineyard estate, according to reports.

The cost of installing the large tank and filling it with gas could reportedly cost up to $75,000.

But I thought that they would be converting the place to all electric. This is what is being pushed on everyone else.

I’m sure it’s not a popular idea. We have had two explosions of propane tanks in the area. One of the explosions killed a family in their home.

Another one was on a truck going down the interstate. There was a wreck and the tank exploded, flew into the air, and then crushed a man as he sat in his house watching television.

Did he buy any propane accessories?

To power his standby genset when the green power goes off. Being paid for by USSS so they don’t loose power to protect they.

Spending half the year on Oahu it is amazing how fast the Obama’s have gotten approval for their renovations. Surprise surprise. There is a constant battle with anyone with beach front property and the state (Of course the vast majority are hard core leftists who vote for it but don’t like the rules when they apply to them). One person I work with has waited over 10 years for permits just to put lights on his fence. His neighbor, has a piece of beach front that, suddenly, is a “sacred Hawaiian” spot even though it was an artillery battery. But Obama... He gets everything he wants.

Investing that amount in his water front mansion indicates he does not endorse the rising sea level scare.

No worries - if he follows the example of the Clintons, the taxpayers will be billed in full for all costs and more, if their Secret Service detail uses so much as a pint of those 2,500 gallons.

I see products endorsed by “experts” all the time. Doesn’t mean they believe the product actually works.

Re: 44 - The concrete walkway is a nice touch. Blends well with the landscape.

Good grief.

I’m coming to the conclusion that this kind of stuff is not really to control CO2. It’s to control us.

Please feel free to say, “Welcome to the party, pal!”

So far, Florida isn’t pulling this crap. I can’t speak for the blue hives in the state, however, such as Tampa-Hillsborough or Miami-Dade.
