A lot of Turks still feel there’s unfinished business with Armenia/Azerbaijan, as Armenia wasn’t *completely* wiped out in that conflict. Russia (belatedly) put a stop to it.
Once Russia is weakened, there will be nothing to stop Turkey from a new Ottoman Empire. And all those Muzzies in Europe now will be glad to help Turkey achieve it.
