Regardless, this is a huge R over performance in a majority Hispanic area that has been traditionally Democrat.
Doomers are deeply saddened. The red wave continues to build.
Yeah, it’s been sitting at 64.7% for a while now.
Cameron county flipped RED!
That rounds to 50%, but don't know what the rule is on that...
Still holding my breath and dreading any late-night ballot dump.
Ungh, not over 50%. And the dims will make sure its not close next time (ahem).
Supposedly all Flores needs to do is win a plurality — no 50% threshold, no runoff needed (?).
There are 2 Hispanic female Republicans in the race. Between them they have 51% of the vote.
No. 50% or an August runoff. The GOP is leading here. If the other Republican wasn’t in this race, Flores would absolutely win this outright tonight. She still can with what is outstanding.
This is the final between Flores and Sanchez. Most votes wins!
Flores is 49.9% with 68.4% in.
Looks like she’s going to break 50%.
Ok so it rounds payt to 50%. Make em’ fight for a runoff-we need it. They can concede but er got issues within.
It’s a shame there are two Republicans in this race. This would have been called by now if it weren’t so.
Regardless this is a huge realignment.
The doomers couldn’t have been more wrong.
Flores up to 49.93%
She needs something like a net of 37 votes to take the 50%+ lead.
Flores 50.9 at 70.5%
Cabrerra, Coronado, Flores, Sanchez...
all old Texas families no doubt
Yep! What’s left should be GOP leaning.
“If Flores gets over 50% she wins outright tonight and this is a R PICKUP in the House.”
Till regular election in November When Gonzalez runs against her.
She just crossed 50%...pray that it sticks!
Sweet. !!!
