Some years ago there was a baseball player from Japan named Shoya Nakajima. A NYC talk radio host who was known for fumbling names on the air referred to him as “Joey Iwo Jima” when announcing some kind of breaking news story about the guy. LOL.

Does anybody remember a TV show around the mid-80s called “Washingtoon?” It didn’t run long, but it was about a pretty stupid airhead of a Congressman.
It was supposed to be a joke.
