President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine has provided near-daily updates of Russia’s invasion on social media; viral video posts have shown the effectiveness of Western weapons in the hands of Ukrainian forces; and the Pentagon has regularly held briefings on developments in the war.
But despite the flow of all this news to the public, American intelligence agencies have less information than they would like about Ukraine’s operations and possess a far better picture of Russia’s military, its planned operations and its successes and failures, according to current and former officials.
Governments often withhold information from the public for operational security. But these information gaps within the U.S. government could make it more difficult for the Biden administration to decide how to target military aid as it sends billions of dollars in weapons to Ukraine.
U.S. officials said the Ukrainian government gave them few classified briefings or details about their operational plans, and Ukrainian officials acknowledged that they did not tell the Americans everything.
Of course the U.S. intelligence community collects information about nearly every country, including Ukraine. But American spy agencies, in general, focus their collection efforts on adversarial governments, like Russia, not current friends, like Ukraine. And while Russia has been a top priority for American spies for 75 years, when it came to the Ukrainians, the United States has worked on building up their intelligence service, not spying on their government.
The result, former officials said, has been some blind spots.
“How much do we really know about how Ukraine is doing?” said Beth Sanner, a former senior intelligence official. “Can you find a person who will tell you with confidence how many troops has Ukraine lost, how many pieces of equipment has Ukraine lost?”

Well, it’s a good thing they don’t know. They’d leak it to the enemy ASAP.
You can always trust the Biden regime to do the wrong thing.
“There, that wasn’t too difficult. What do they pay a senior analyst?”
Not to worry, you don’t qualify.
Very good discussion on The Duran about the turmoil in Europe over their war effort. Governments weakened and falling and friction developing between them all. “Shock and Awe Sanctions...only question who was the shock and awe meant for? Was it meant for Russia or was it meant for Europe?”
“Historians will go away and they will say this was the worst thought out decision that has ever been made.” German economist: We didn’t think through; we didn’t think through what the implications of the sanctions would be.

Macron’s first round failure in National Assembly vote. Governments across Europe fail
Remember what happened in South Vietnam when we didn’t like their leader.
Putin played them for the fools they are.
I just read this in the Russian Ministry of Defense Briefing:
HOW AWFUL!!!
During the special military operation, the Ukrainian army continues to suffer significant losses .
❗️I would like to emphasize that in recent weeks, incidents of shooting Ukrainian servicemen in the back by nationalist units have become more frequent in the areas of hostilities . So, after conducting fire preparations for the offensive of Russian troops in the area of the settlement of Novomikhailovka (DPR), more than 30 servicemen of the 25th battalion of the 54th mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine decided to lay down their arms and surrender.
◾️The Ukrainian servicemen, who occupied a stronghold in the area of the Animal Farm , braced themselves by radio to the command of the Russian unit to cease fire and provide an exit corridor. At about 10 p.m., servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with white flags began to advance towards the Russian positions .
◾️At that moment, a detachment of Ukrainian nationalists , who arrived at the strong point on armored vehicles, opened crossfire at the servicemen of the 54th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the back .
As a result of this shooting , 32 Ukrainian servicemen were fatally wounded and killed .
◾️This incident, like many others like it, clearly shows that against the backdrop of growing military failures and the demoralization of Ukrainian troops, the Kiev nationalist regime is trying to stop the retreat and surrender of its units by punitive actions of detachments .
◾️The lives of Ukrainian servicemen and mobilized fighters of territorial defense units mean nothing to the current leadership of Ukraine .

What the hell? We’ve just borrowed $60B to give these jokers and the Pentagon doesn’t have a clue about the situation. Yeah, that’s about what I expected to hear.
“ Starting to play the blame game is not a good sign.”

U.S. Lacks a Clear Picture of Ukraine’s War Strategy, Officials Say
The only clear picture this government has is, how to screw the public.
111 days since the invasion ?
Where is the US lead delegation to try to end this war ?
Thats right…..we have no leadership. Shitshow Joe wants
this war !
Those are NATO supplied AVs the Azov-Nazis are using.
Are you Russian?

Because there are a fairly large number of very uninformed/misinformed freepers who are easily triggered by truth which doesn’t conform to their feelings I have made a concerted effort throughout this conflict to avoid making the obvious observations that anyone who is genuinely looking intensively into all the facts of this war quickly becomes aware of.
But, the bottom line is that the Ukrainian government and a significant minority of their military forces are brutal, inhumane Nazis. How we could be supporting them is difficult to understand and is to our utter shame. Our Deep State government has no values whatsoever. What kind of human being could possibly be okay with deliberately murdering 32 of your own troops in order to keep them from surrendering?
I have watched dozens of videos of Ukrainian troops torturing and murdering prisoners of war and their own civilians. I have watched the multiple incidents of Ukrainian “false flag” atrocities that they originally had managed to successfully (though only temporarily) pin on Russia because it fit the narrative the West has carefully cultivated.
Thank God the good guys are winning. The decent Ukrainians are going to be much better off once “denazification” is complete.
Concurring bump...it is shameful.
Duh
Who is saying the U.S. doesn’t like Zelensky?
