Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky will visit Alabama to campaign for Congressman Mo Brooks in the Republican primary runoff for U.S. Senate.

The Brooks campaign announced that Paul, Republican of Kentucky, will headline two townhall events on Friday in Homewood and Huntsville.

Paul in March became the first sitting member of the Senate to endorse Brooks in the race, saying in part, “Mo has proven time and time again he will stand up for liberty and do what he thinks is right.”

Brooks’ campaign announced the events on Friday, just hours before former President Donald Trump said he was endorsing Britt in the runoff. Trump called Britt “a fearless America First Warrior” in his endorsement announcement Friday night.

No brooks gets up at a trump rally. A rally tgat was put on for him Monday brooks and tells the crowd to forget about 2020 being stolen

Of course Rand Paul Tge ever undependable, unpredictable gets out there and rallies for him. He’s losing by a mile.

Mo Brooks gets up at a Trump rally. A rally that was put on for him, Mo Brooks. He tells the rallying Trump- loving crowd to forget about 2020 being stolen

Of course Rand Paul, the ever undependable, unpredictable, he gets out there and rallies for Mo Brooks just when Trump dumps him and he’s losing by a mile.

Brooks had one single problem...campaign efforts at six to eight months out was running on fumes. People comment on this...just no real enthusiasm shown and advertisements were non-existent. Trump came to realize that Mo was not in any motivated position to win.

I’m not enthusiastic over Brett or Durant. This is probably the oddest senate race in Alabama history...where no one seems to thrilled about the options.

So you prefer the resume-less, photogenic chic who is owned by McConnel?

I don’t care any more than anyone else about this Alabama race. Rand Paul is not going to rally the anti trump Republican candidate who is losing by a yuge amount enough to win it for him. He’s just coming out as anti trump. He’s from Kentucky and he’s a senator he doesn’t even have any business opining much less rallying

Trump will choose some gop RINO who will turn on him. As usual. But what does Rand Paul have to go up and poke trump in the eye for.
He’s a pain

I had a great conversation with Katie and her husband a couple of months back. The are America first patriots. She is the real deal. She had been to Mara Largo, told me that the election was rigged and she was going to look to join Bill Hagerty in the Senate who said he wants a commission to get to the bottom of it. Lots of folks including me are excited to have Katie as the next Senator from Alabama.

Each state has their own issues.

In Alabama, you can round up a dozen counties (mostly central western counties) where the vote is fairly close to 100-percent of the population noted by the Census people. In a typical national map...areas usually go between 60-and-70 percent of residents getting themselves registered and voting. Thousands of votes showing up...but probably not residents.

There’s not doubt that cheating is taking place but no one from the state feels obligated to really audit them. Multiply that by 50, and stir in the folks who vote in multiply elections. It’s a mess without any real commitment by the Senate or House members.

It would help to have a national registration database, and a national ID card....but no one wants either (for obvious reasons). It might also help to send cheat-voters off to a year or two of prison, but no one wants to do that.

Slightly off-topic, but somewhat relevant (and redundant to say so) . . .

Gannett, parent organization of USA Today and 250 other papers is telling its publishers that people don’t like to be told how to vote, and newspaper endorsements are ignored.

Donald Trump endorses and turns many fading campaigns into winners.

Be interesting to see how this one turns out.

We are still voting for Mo Brooks. The Republican party in Alabama is doing us a big disservice by not having Britt and Brooks debate. Katy would loose big time, and she knows it.

No, patriots don’t sell out to the McConnell GOPe. Her GOPe backers have thrown boat-loads of money into this race for her. She is bought and paid for by the GOPe. Plus, she is a protege’ if Richard Shelby, Senator and former Democrat. He is a major league money grubbing creep who did not lift a finger or say a word when the election was stolen from Trump.

I have known Britt’s husband and his family for many years. They are good folks. But I will NOT be voting for Katie Britt. It does not matter what you think she believes. She certainly talks a good game. But the people of Alabama will not own her vote or be represented by her. She is controlled by the GOPe, and that is the LAST thing we conservatives need in Washington.

It may be a lost cause at this point. But thanks to Rand Paul. Much obliged.

“We are still voting for Mo Brooks. The Republican party in Alabama is doing us a big disservice by not having Britt and Brooks debate.”

That’s because she is an empty dress. If she wants to establish her credentials as a true conservative, let her run for a lesser office and prove she can deliver. Earn it. Currently, her campaign is pouring big dollars on attack adds against Mo. A certainty is she has no track record and will owe GOPE politicians and donors big time. Just remember, if she wins, her staff will mostly come from retiring senator Shelby’s staff. I would like to see all traces of RINO Shelby and his staff removed from Alabama politics. His endorsement of democrat Jones for Senator was the kicker.
