There are in my opinion millions who cannot be trusted to be armed. Most of those are smart enough to know it, and choose not to be.
The rest are potential dangers, but our system of law and order says until you commit the crime you are not asked to do the time. It is called freedom. A very dangerous concept.
“The Minority Report” was all about thought crime. Red Flag law is up for grabs now in the US Senate. We are very likely to find out their views on freedom and liberty.
Thought crime is communist doctrine. The only way thought crime has been beneficial is when Jesus knew the thoughts of his many accusers and was able to convict them in their own minds with that knowledge. That kind of power should not be in the hands of fallible humans.
Until they abuse the right, even freed felons must be covered by “shall not be infringed”.
Yes, there are many who cannot be trusted to be armed; that is the excuse the left uses to try to disarm EVERYONE (except themselves and their bodyguards, that is).
