You have to give credit to the second amendment gun right Citizens and groups. They are the only ones who have stood up to the progressive mob and won.
They know that progressives like to boil the frog. Put the frog in a nice cool pot. Turn up the heat slowly, now it’s a hot tub. Next thing he’s cooked.
All the anti-smoking Activists wanted in the 1970s was some non-smoking sections on airplanes.
It’s incrementalism. That’s what progressives learned from the victory against smokers.
Don’t tell them what the ultimate goal is. Start with reasonable restrictions That are common sense. Like no smoking in a neonatal ICU. If you told people that the ultimate goal is there is no smoking in an adult only biker bar In order to coerce them to quit for their own good As a social engineering experiment.
Moral of the story… Give them an inch they will take a mile.
