The Officers We Really Needed to Hear From at the J6 Hearing TV Spectacle

Last night’s J6 committee prime time scripted reality show featured an appearance by an officer injured in the Capitol Hill riot. No one celebrates Officer Caroline Edwards’ awful experience. After all, she wasn’t a cop executed, firebombed, nearly burned alive or assaulted by the ANTIFA/BLM army cheered and funded by the same Democrats putting on last night’s show.

But we have to ask: Of all the officers involved that day, is Officer Edwards the one America needed to hear from?

Actually, let’s hold that thought.

Why Wasn’t Officer Edwards Asked Pertinent Questions?

I’m bewildered by what Officer Edwards wasn’t asked.

1. Did you think the Capitol Police being only half-staffed that day was a good idea?

2. What do you think of the breaking news that Chuck Schumer received FBI intel about possible violence Jan 6, but your commanders didn’t get that intel?

3. Did you agree with Nancy Pelosi’s decision to reject the now-fired Chief’s repeated pleas before January 6 to accept Trump’s repeated offer of National Guard troops?

4. How do you feel knowing that Pelosi refused to protect the Capitol … and you … because of “optics”?

5. Doesn’t the fact Pelosi rejected the offer due to “optics” suggest she didn’t want National Guard “Stormtroopers” around because she logically assumed any violence would be instigated by her friends in Antifa/BLM? Or did she and the incoming regime actually want a riot as an excuse to quash all dissent?

6. Would you have felt more secure had the 20,000 National Guard troops Trump wanted at the Capitol been there? In your professional opinion, would there have been any trouble had those troops been there?

7. Be honest. Who really wanted to have your back that day, Donald Trump or Nancy Pelosi?
