Strange story. He is not apprehended on Kavanaugh’s property as I understand it. Thus the guy admits to wanting to kill Kavanaugh. All he had to do was keep his mouth shut and admit nothing and that he was just taking a walk.
It is almost as if he was instructed on what to say if caught near the house in order to send a message to all the SC justices. Or ... a more likely reason is the guy is just nuts.

Judging by the Sussman case, Paul Pelosi’s DUI, and the handling of January 6, it is obvious that the guy who tried to kill Justice Kavanaugh will be back out on the streets in no time — especially now that the case has been handed over to the FBI.
Inspired by democrats, get rid of a conservative justice and replace with a liberal, no conservative jutice is safe now.
Assuming the suspect didn’t drive from Cali, how did he get the gun? Can’t take it on a plane. All baggage gets X-rayed. And with an out-of-state drivers license, buying a gun in VA or Maryland might have been a bit difficult.
Or maybe he was outfitted for the mission like James Bond 007. I suppose we’ll find out.
