No lithium, no cellphones,no laptops,no tablets,no handheld powertools,no portable oxygen machines,no portable medical devices,no rechargeable pacemakers,no handheld police radio’s,no handheld GPS for the military,satcoms for specops, no military drones,no civilian drones,no remote sensing buoys,no underwater autonomous vehicles,no....you get the idea the foundation of modern electronics is built on the energy density of Li-ion cells. None of these modern devices could exist without those cells. Nickel metal hydride would double the size and weight of the pack , nicads even worse. It’s not just cars the modern techno world depends on lithium.

I remarked on the most obvious trade-off. The Left wants to have their pie-in-the-sky and put it in the garbage disposal too.
