Why didn’t Trump and local supporters in WY run a ballot initiative last year, to close the Wyoming primaries so Democrats couldn’t vote in GOP primaries and vice versa?
I guess for the same reason Trump didn’t have a list prepared of loyal people to appoint and hit the ground running when he took office in 2017. He’s not good at strategic planning.
Everyone has an OPINION.
“ Why didn’t Trump and local supporters in WY run a ballot initiative last year, to close the Wyoming primaries so Democrats couldn’t vote in GOP primaries and vice versa.”
Because that requires actual work.

Do you always have to come here with your STUPID ANTI-TRUMP bullcrap?
Why don’t you just go back to the DU where you can be with your own IDIOTS CLUB.

During the 2016 campaign Trump appointed Chris Christie to lead his transition team. On Election Day the people for key positions in the new administration should have been identified, vetted and ready to be appointed. Apparently Christie and Trump did nothing because the day after the election Trump started scrambling to staff an administration. Christie was soon fired and on Inauguration Day Trump was still dependent on thousands of Obama holdovers in the executive branch because he had not sent nominations to the Senate or had not filled chairs that didn’t require Senate approval.
Compare to the Obama and Biden transition teams. They had nominees ready for Senate approval and people ready to move in for the positions not requiring approval. They hit the ground running. Trump suffered his entire four years for failing to have people ready to replace the Obama people on Inauguration Day.
As to those who say McConnell was the reason for Trump’s poor people selections, consider McConnell had no veto power over Trump’s selection of his transition team. Trump selected Christie during the campaign. Once he fired Christie Jared and Ivanka apparently became key players in identifying and vetting people to staff the administration. McConnell had nothing to do with Jared and Ivanka’s role in staffing decisions.
Ultimately the implementation of Trump’s agenda was hampered by poor staffing. Instead of starting with a strong, loyal team he spent months dependent on Obama holdovers. Trump owns this failure.
