MADISON – Leaders of the Republican-controlled state Legislature are facing primary challengers who launched campaigns on grievances over the 2020 election that they tie to the incumbent lawmakers.
Challengers to Senate Majority Leader Devin LeMahieu, Assembly Speaker Robin Vos and Senate Majority Caucus Chairman Van Wanggaard are calling for the abolition of the state Elections Commission, or are questioning the outcome of the 2020 election. Some blame their Republican primary opponents for unresolved concerns over how the contest was administered.

GOP legislatures in WI, MI, AZ, PA, GA all did nothing as the election was stolen.
On the one hand we’ve had the media’s flood of persuasion that the 2020 election outcome was valid, yet about half of the population doesn’t believe it.
Makes no sense to me that the Jan 6 committee has anything new to tell us but we’ll see. I’m hoping the public hearings will be an embarrassment to the committee.
I am guessing more like 75% know the election was stolen. No way someone no one really liked when they were VP for 8 years and spent his campaign in the basement and when he did have a rally could not get more than 15 people there and made gaffs every time he spoke got 81 million votes.
This committee has no smoking gun or evidence. They simply want to make it look like they were correct when they impeached him. After this public hearing we won’t hear about it any more. Will be full of over reaching and possibly made up evidence. And if it goes to any court hearings they will have to release the video they have showing supposed Capitol police (or people dressed up like them) letting in people dressed up like Trump supporters through side doors before anything happened. They have hours of video from inside the Capitol they don’t want us seeing. The Babbit shooting is on there. And the video from the day before was accidentally erased.
