Just days after Russia attacked Ukraine on Feb 24, Finnish entrepreneur Sissi Moberg found herself scouring the Internet for courses that could teach her skills to help defend Finland in case of a military attack.
"I felt very sad for the Ukrainians. And then I started to worry about Finland and thinking what could I do about this," the 46-year-old mother-of-four told Reuters.
Within weeks, Moberg was on a course intended for reservists and learning how to use a gun and move on a battlefield.

You forget that Russia (Soviets) already invaded Finland and tried to occupy the country in 1939 as part of the Molotov - Ribbentrop pact

............as a large country (geographically) but only 5.5 million in population, I admire the women’s patriotism and in an all out conventional war with Russia there would seem little doubt that all these trained women would be a huge assistance to their Army and their countrymen.
But, with a 13,000 man army, and with potentially tens of thousands of Russians coming across the border, these women would do a lot more good if they went down to the Ukraine and hung out around the men operating the 177 howitzers for about 30 days (call it training).
I say this because the women can’t realistically fight a 200lb Russian man hand to hand but they could sure kill a lot of Rooskies operating the computers and drones that bring artillery shells raining down on the Russians.
This would free up a lot of men to man the front lines.
Does that instructor appear concerned?
