We are going to have to separate ourselves from their madness and insanity - and form our own communities to govern and live as we so choose instead of having their sick world foisted on us and our children.
So Kingsberry and others were so ignorant that they had no idea who the bases were named for. Then someone or something made them aware that they should be aggrieved by historical names. Who or what takes on the mighty Marxist job of agitating the masses?
Is it cruel and RACIST to make black people feel put upon by history, making them live in the worst episodes of the past, and personalizing events far outside their own lives or experience? Instead of feeding ignorant people just enough to agitate them, much broader history lessons are needed to provide context (i.e., that the histories of all peoples are replete with enslavements, territorial usurpations, etc.). Or is that just a way to help honkies escape punishment for sins committed before they were born?
I wonder if that rusted out scaffolding passed a safety check.

I do not like this phrase. It’s trite and hollow virtue signaling. I asked a strong 2nd amendment supporter friend of mine why he didn’t join the NRA. He’s a Georgia country boy. He tends to support Dem candidates, like most Black voters, but he mentioned lack of diversity at NRA meetings. I then said would you joining make NRA more diverse or less. Then he moved to the inclusion buzzword, saying their annual meetings don’t seem inclusive. Granted I am not a fan of the current NRA with its scandals but it’s done some important lobbying work including constitutional carry which he supports.
The very first sentence he advertises his ignorance.
Yes, it’s both. It’s done for profit and control, to exploit for personal financial and political reasons, to continue a generational subjugation of Blacks by always “reminding them” their ancestors (and thus them as well) were once viewed as less than human. It keeps them trapped on a mental plantation where they never get a fair deal or are owed more than equal opportunity, respect and human dignity. It keeps them powerless while claiming to be stated in the name of empowerment. It’s insidious.

Crap like this is why military recruiting is at the lowest levels since WWII. My family’s military history goes back to the Revolutionary War and I recently told my son to NOT let my grandsons join this woke-ass, Rainbow Red-Army.

Navy bases are not named after people. Their names come from the geographic name for where they are located. The Pearl Harbor Naval Base is at Pearl Harbor HI. The Norfolk Navy Base is in Norfolk Virginia. Etc etc. Doris Miller was a sailor, why would the army or air force name a base after a sailor.

That is a really good point. The Army names it's helicopters after tribes.
I’m torn on this.
On one side of my family, I am descended from Free Soilers. My late grandfather was NOT supportive of naming army bases, monuments, etc. after rebel slavers (his term).
He found it an insult to those who fought and died wearing the blue. I remember he thought it would be a like French base being named “Ft Rommel” or something like that.
In the same line, we have family that served in the Indian Wars. There used to be a lot of bases and military equipment named after the various tribes. Over the last 30 years, most of those are gone now and with it, the memory of those conflicts.
Slavery is a stain on the nation, and one it cost a lot of blood to remove. But we need to move on.
