Yes, I understand that the purpose of the 2nd Amendment is to give the people the means to fight a tyrannical government if one should ever come into power. We’re more than half way there.
The members of the U.S. military are drawn from American society.
Many of them are conservative, are gun owners, and love their country.
So, yes, I have faith in SOME of them, but not all of them.
The bad guys in the military need to be reminded what an insurgent population can do, AKA Iraq.
Not the senior officers. Virtually all are career-minded statists and they know which side their bread is buttered on. And that's before the Obama purge. They won't hesitate to brief the troops properly and then order them to "save democracy."

what percentage of senior officers would resign their commissions if given an order by Biden? How about field grade?

But how many is the question...I think it would be a very tiny minority. Especially if they're given the "reliable" intel that domestic terrorists are planning _____?
Think back on your history. How many questionable things has the army done since the end of the cold war. Based on solid, reliable intel. Waco anybody? (Obvious example I realize)
I hope it doesn't come to that. I really and truly hope not. But if you believe that parts of the military are going to stage a coup or even join the rebel side, I really think you're mistaken.
