Why did she settle for Boston College when she could have gone to Harvard like the indigenous senator from Massachusetts?
Chief Grey Beaver never went to Harvard. She got her undergraduate degree in speech pathology from the University of Houston, and her law degree from Rutgers.
Her phony status as a "Native American" got her a faculty position at the University of Pennsylvania, and from there she traded up to Harvard.
I recall reading long ago that she was getting $360K/year for teaching one course there. That was before she became a senator.
