The midterm elections were undermined by Ryan not persuading fellow congressman to campaign for reelection. We should therefore, never have lost the House to Pelosi.
Trump tirelessly campaigned for Senators, and we were able to keep the Senate.
Ryan also blocked funding for the wall. During the negotiations between the WH and congress on the budget, as I recall that gave Schumer everything he wanted in exchange for military spending requests from Trump, Ryan could easily have thrown in the 5 to 6 billion needed to complete the wall.
The deceit, disloyalty and outright behind the scene back stabbing against Trump was widespread under Ryan.
