I had both knees done at once, get it over with as both for completely shot,my own doing as years of riding and breaking horses to driving a truck for 16 years. The 1st week was rugged without a doubt but it got better as I started PT the same day of surgery, things got better and I by the 3rd week was getting around pretty good on a walker\then double canes..Did fall couple times, once stepped in a hole near the barn and another a cow bumped me but I knew how to land from years of riding so I was ok..Started jogging about 7 weeks Postop..
