Well, your corn is definitely way past the proverbial knee-high by the 4th of July, looks like you have a good crop growing.
Knee-high by the 4th of July might be up north. Down here, it’s already loaded with ears. But then we plant earlier. :-)
I’m just tickled to have corn again rather than cotton. It’s so much prettier and won’t give everyone allergy problems all summer. The past two years with everyone growing cotton wore almost everyone I know out with allergies.
So far this year, I haven’t seen a cotton field. All fields are either corn or soybeans. YAY!
