“the solar tax credit I got when I installed my system didn’t help me.”

How about the taxpayer funded subsidy that the Solar panel producer got, to offset the PRICE that you paid?

For 5-7 years, you’ll have those panels, before they need replacement, and we’ll offset your cost for those, too.

SCAM-O-RAMA aka: Solar Power. The prices for gas, fossil-fuel backup, and EVERY delivered product will rise, so you “solar-powered” climate change-excused “off the grid” folks can suffer with the rest of us on THOSE.As always, follow the $$$$$$. Stay at home to avoid the fuel costs, or lean on tax-payer subsidized EV’s, as long as they’re “Union-made” (yet another payoff).

My solar panels have a 25-year warranty guaranteed to have only a slight decline in throughput to still be operating at 70% the final year. My batteries have a 19-year/50% warranty.

I'm with you in part. All the subsidies did was make my suppliers richer. It's analogous to colleges hiking tuition to suck in more scholarship money -- in the end the scholarships hurt the students as much as helped them, but they did enrich the colleges. That's what solar subsidies do: enrich the industry but not the buyers.

The EV I ordered isn't "union made". LOL

And I'm one of the ones loudest in saying the global warming religion is fake. The Modern Warm Period we're in is nothing different from the Medieval Warm Period, Roman Warm Period (time of Christ) or the Minoan Warm Period (time of Moses). In fact, each warm period is cooler than the prior ones and are truly the good times to be alive. It's in the centuries long cooling periods that people die from climate change.

I'm just saying if the Dims are going to make energy too expensive to use, us freedom loving Americans ought to take matters into our own hands and do more than just fuss about it. When my solar system is upgraded in the next month or so it'll produce 90% of all the power we consume, including charging the EV to drive ~200 miles per week. Thus, I'll complain about the costs of only the 10% of the power I buy from the grid. I don't see what's so evil about trying to protect my retirement planning from runaway energy inflation. I don't see what's so bad about making my power more dependable than the 3rd world country style intermittent power that the Dims have planned for us.
