Yes, that phrase contains it all -—ALL. It has become a central conceit of sorts of Democrats/”Progressives” of the current period, that the ordinary machinations of the political processes themselves are hopelessly mired in ancient time-wasting formalities, for folks ‘such as us’ —we are beyond all this -—don’t waste our time. History by the way, history ITSELF, should not have happened the way it happened, it shouldn’t have happened at all. That’s why we were justified in tearing down all those statues a few years ago.
