Actually we were fortunate enough to get “real” though admittedly conservative Ukraine loss infomation.
Rybar had an inside source from the Ukraine General Command that provided the numbers Ukraine had collected. Though they made clear they were low because the National Guard stopped reporting after the first month. Other units stopped reporting when the commander was killed and still other units were categorized as “missing.”
And Ukraine will not accept their dead soldiers bodies from the Russians and lists them as “missing” for PR reasons.
But, still it was incredible to be able to see the actual reality. Rybar published the report daily until May 10th and then with no explanation it stopped. Maybe the informer was caught; maybe Rybar ran out of bribe money, who knows...:-)
But, it was great to get to see truth. So, here is the last one. You just have to add the last 3 weeks and all the data that was never reported.
