We had better real time coverage during WW2 than the current war. Think about that one
The consequential strategic realities of this horrible, unnecessary bloody war have already been determined 1) It is obvious that the once feared Russian conventional military juggernaut, held in awe by NATO, was a paper tiger. It would have been no match for NATO forces. 2) Modern technology has made big armored land fighting vehicles and almost all naval surface combatants vulnerable and perhaps obsolete. All future wars must be fought far differently than previously imagined. 3) Comrade Xi, witnessing the political, economic and military costs to the Russians against a determined opponent, must take serious pause in any plan to invade Taiwan. It is not a certainty that his combat inexperienced military armed with locally produced , untested equipment ships and planes would be successful attacking across 90 miles of open ocean. 4) It is now clear that the Russians do not have the conventional military power to defend their underpopulated Siberian treasure house and their rich Fear Eastern Pacific regions against a determined Chinese incursion.

Accurate real-time coverage is available, but not from the state media in the West.
The reflexive Russia-haters censor and scream epithets. Even after a peace is negotiated, they will continue to support the next current thing and when tribunals take place, they will deny everything.
We had them during & after WWII, as well. Good Americans of German descent still groused about “Poor Mr. Hitler” and sent their kids to Turners, which were the youth wing of The Bund.
My husband’s German side went to their graves refusing to believe Germany lost or was at fault. Quietly, of course, because profits needed to be made, but they never relented.
