Local cops have kept guard outside Arredondo’s house around the clock.
“I do not understand why the police from Uvalde, Texas, are guarding Pete Arredondo’s home,” Torres said. “He is hiding in his home, requesting the PD patrol the area and guard his home day and night. He should come out and speak up.”

The Governor of Texas actually has very little power. It's the Attorney General who has the power to act in this case.

Typical of those in government, as seldom anyone resigns...Even though the Democrats have caused a dumpster fire in every direction, no one will resign their cushy positions which allow them to get rich and stay in power.

I was looking at some of the pictures taken in Uvalde and I noticed too the number of “well nourished” law enforcement officials that were on the scene. It does make one wonder why there are no weight requirements for police officers.
